Summary: Great value but not for people with fingers
Comment: Just got these and could not be happier. Very speedy ship. Simplest of assembly on the table and everything else just folds. Chairs are actually comfy without pillows. Looks very good quality.
Ammended after a month...
This is a great teak outdoor set and a great price. It looks just as great as the photos.
So it's all good, right? Well, not exactly.
If you have fingers, and want to keep them, you should think carefully before buying this set. If you have children, you may need to practice constant vigilance. The chairs fold in a wonky way. They are, in fact, quite dangerous. Even knowing this, my husband managed to nearly take off my daughters finger recently. We are considering going to extreme measures so that the chairs are no longer able to fold. They are so heavy, we really don't have any need to fold them when moving them around, but the moment you attempt to lift one, look out fingers because the wonky self-folding begins automatically.
And as other reviewers have pointed out, there is some issue with the packaging so the chair legs arrive already scratched up.

Comment: Gorgeous Balau wood set. We are very pleased... Only minor tightening with the provided Allen wrench was needed for each piece. Very minor scratches on the legs of 2 of the chairs that were shipped in sets of 2 and must have rubbed against each other during shipment. All other pieces were perfect."

Comment: Couldn't be happier with the purchase! Lovely teak furniture. Perhaps not quite as solid as what's available through Smith & Hawkin, but certainly comparable at half the price or less. Probably without the same lifetime guarantee, however.
